CBAHI participates in World Health
The Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) is participating in the Global Health Forum, which kicked off today and will continue until October 11 in the capital, Riyadh.
Sepahi’s participation aims to inform visitors about the center’s most prominent work, such as setting standards, accreditation and evaluation of health facilities across the Kingdom.
CAHI conducts field evaluation of all medical facilities, such as hospitals, laboratories, blood banks, dispensaries, primary health care centers, oncology, heart and diabetes centers, has more than 21 accreditation programs, and more than 400 residents it uses to assess the compliance of medical facilities with the center’s standards and requirements related to infection control and drug safety, safe blood transfusion, surgical and anesthesia safety, medical and nursing staff qualifications, and more.
Sepahi is one of only twenty accreditation bodies around the world that have received international recognition by the World Association for the Quality of Healthcare (ESCWA), which means that its standards and method of evaluation are compatible with international standards and requirements.
