CBAHI spokesman warns against dealing with institutions and individuals impersonating the center

Sepahi Speaker and Advisor to the Director General for Accreditation Affairs, Mr. Yousef Al-Mutairi, warns against dealing with institutions and individuals impersonating the center The official spokesman of the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI), Mr. Yousef Al-Mutairi, warned against dealing with institutions and individuals impersonating the center.

Al-Mutairi said: “We have monitored institutions and individuals impersonating the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions, and therefore we warn against dealing with them in any way,” stressing that they are being dealt with in accordance with legal procedures.Al-Mutairi stressed that Sepahi does not recommend dealing with any entity or individuals who announce the possibility of helping health facilities to obtain Spahi’s accreditation, explaining that the center opens its doors to all health facilities to provide support and answer all inquiries by all available means without affecting the result of the evaluation or obtaining accreditation.At the end of his speech, Al-Mutairi called on everyone to report any entity or individuals impersonating Sepahi, by sending their report to the e-mail: Cbahi@cbahi.gov.sa.

It is noteworthy that the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) is the official body authorized to grant accreditation certificates to all healthcare facilities operating in the public and private sectors in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the main tasks of the center lie in setting standards for health care quality and patient safety under which all healthcare facilities are evaluated, and then granting accreditation certificates to facilities that prove their commitment to those standards.
